Solicitation Disclosure Statements

In compliance with various state laws in the states in which Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary solicits charitable donations, Cotton Branch makes the following additional disclosures:

Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation (FEIN 37-1491950). Financial information about Cotton Branch, can be obtained by contacting us at 328 Lightwood Knot Road, Leesville, SC 29070, www.cottonbranch.org, or as stated below:

  • Financial information about Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary and a copy of its license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 1-888-830-4989 (within North Carolina) or 919-807-2214 (outside of North Carolina). The license is not an endorsement by the State.

  • You may request a copy of Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary’s latest annual report from the South Carolina's Secretary of State's Charities Division, 1205 Pendleton Street, Suite 525 Columbia, SC 29201 or by calling (803) 734-1790 or by visiting https://sos.sc.gov/online-filings/charities-pfrs-and-raffles/charities

  • Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary will make the following information available upon request: (a) a full and fair description of the charitable program for which any specific solicitation campaign is being carried out and, if different, a full and fair description of programs and activities of the charitable organization on whose behalf the solicitation is being carried out; and (b) a financial statement or summary which shall be consistent with the financial statement required to be filed with the Georgia Secretary of State.
