From the Kind Kitchen: Peanut Butter, Banana, and Cookie Nice Cream

Summer might be coming to a close, but there is always room for nice cream! Follow this super simple recipe to make nice cream right at home with ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen!

Ingredients:

- 5 Frozen Bananas (try to cut them before freezing them)

- 3 Tbsp. Peanut Butter

- ½ C. Almond Milk, (or other non-dairy milk)

- ¼ C. Crushed Oreo cookies

  1. Add the frozen bananas to a food processor or blender and pulse until the banana starts to come up on the sides of the blender, making it difficult to keep blending.

  2. Scrape banana off of the side of the processor or blender then add in non-dairy milk and mix until creamy consistency.

  3. When the mixture is creamy, add in the peanut butter and blend well.

  4. After blended, add in Oreo cookies. The original Oreo cookies are vegan, but specialty Oreo flavors, (like the chocolate covered ones for example), are not vegan. Make sure if you want to use a specialty flavor of Oreo to check the back of the packaging to make sure it does not include animal products.

  5. Blend until all ingredients are mixed well together.

  6. What else is there to do but enjoy! Make sure to freeze any leftovers!
